As we celebrate Good Friday, let’s remember that Jesus was our Passover Lamb. He is pictured in the story of the Exodus as the Lamb whose blood was shed and placed on the door posts so that the angel of death and judgment would pass over that home, keeping those who were under the blood safe inside.
The Word of God is so amazing. After Jesus was resurrected he met with two men on the road to Emmaus and explained how He was revealed in the law and prophets. The men were so amazed by the teaching of Jesus concerning the ways he was foretold in the Old Testament that they said it caused their hearts “to burn within them.”
