Pope Francis: A Spiritual Adulterer Who Is Bringing Other Lovers Into the Temple of God

Today I saw a horrendous image. I saw those who carry the name of Christ being joined to idol worshipers. I watched as the religious leaders of the world betrayed God.

The name of my website is The Narrow Way, yet today I watched as Pope Francis promoted the broad way. His attempt to bring about peace and oneness through “unity in diversity” is UNHOLY. Holiness isn’t divided. It can never be divided. By its very nature it is whole, pure, and one. Nothing can come in and defile it or it will no longer be holy.

The “spirit of oneness” is a false Holy Spirit. It’s the ultimate bait and switch. Pope Francis is giving out Spam (which is made up of pieces and parts) and the people are consuming it as though it were steak. Yet those who have steak (the meat of the Word) are called “haters” and “divisive.”

Even evangelicals, such as Kenneth Copeland, James Robison, Joel Osteen, and John Arnott are pledging their hearts to Pope Francis. They are leading their flocks into this deception of “unity in diversity.” But what is so attractive about the pope’s message that they would be willing to betray the Lord?

John Arnott is even hosting members of the Vatican at his “Fire and Fusion” conferences, claiming that a new move of the spirit is happening which will fuse evangelicals and Catholics together in answer to the prayer of Jesus in John 17 that the church would be “one.” (Is this the revival that Beth Moore says is “coming?”) Do they not know they are being duped into being joined, not just to the Catholic Church, but also to idols?

The pope’s message is a lie because it denies the need for the Son of God, who is the true Prince of Peace, yet Pope Francis would have the name of Christ become yoked with the religions of the world that deny Jesus–the Son of God whose blood was shed as a Lamb for the sacrifice of sins. Although the world wishes COEXISTENCE could be pleasing to God, 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 says it isn’t:

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

We aren’t allowed to be joined with those who worship idols, instead we are commanded to be separate from them. They are unclean. Why? Because they haven’t been washed in the blood of Jesus. Yet Pope Francis calls Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, and Taoists “brothers and sisters” even though the truth revealed in the Gospel says only those who receive Jesus and separate themselves from idol worshipers will be called “sons and daughters” of the Father.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:17-18)

Pope Francis is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He is a spiritual adulterer who is willing to bring other lovers into the temple of God. He isn’t a faithful shepherd. He seduces the flock away from their “First Love” (the first commandment is to love the Lord with ALL our heart) and indicates that those who deny the Son can be called our “brothers and sisters.” Yet we don’t have the same Father! The scriptures (that Pope Francis claims to adhere to) say this:

No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. (1 John 2:23)

If a person denies the Son, he or she doesn’t have the Father. The Muslim Quran (19:35) says this in contrast to the Gospel:

It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, “Be”, and it is.

In fact, the scriptures say those who deny the Son have the spirit of antichrist. (1 John 4:3) It also warns us in these verses that many FALSE prophets have gone out into the world. Muhammad was a false prophet if he denied the Son . . . and Pope Francis is a false prophet if he says God will receive those who deny the Son. Only Jesus–the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world–is the one whose shed blood caused the veil to be torn, opening the way for humanity to enter into the Holy of Holies and be reconciled to God.

I believe Pope Francis is a “filthy dreamer” (Jude 1:8) who is attempting to order this world and bring about “shalom” without requiring belief in the Son. This is impossible! This is confusion. This is false unity. This is trying to fuse iron and clay.

It isn’t the first time humanity has tried to restore what was lost in the Garden of Eden without doing it God’s way. Every totalitarian government has been an expression of the desire for order. In fact, tyranny in all forms has its roots in this need for structure, the drive to create our idea of what should be, a self-willed attempt to overcome the consequences of the Fall. Believe me when I say that the Pope’s push for climate change regulations and “social justice” will produce tyrannical, evil results.

I love the Pope. I wish I had an opportunity to plead with him to be faithful to God, but right now he is being unfaithful to God, just as the ancient Israelites were when they allowed the followers of Baal and Molech to be worshiped alongside God, but we can’t love Yahweh AND Allah. We must remain pure, and faithful to the truth. Why did God send so many prophets to Israel? Because they kept adding other lovers to their relationship with God. James warned of this very same thing:

You adulterous people!Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”? (James 4:4-5)

This “falling away” from the faith that I’m watching right before my very eyes causes my heart to cry out, to plead with those who say they love Jesus: STAY FAITHFUL! DON’T BE SEDUCED by the spirit of the age!  Yet at the same time, we know that Jesus warned us this would happen. He even asked, “When the Son of Man comes again, will he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8)

want to let it be known, even at the cost of being called a divisive “fundamentalist,” that I would rather divide from the world, than be divided from the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who have been sanctified (set apart, made holy) by the truth of the Word. (John 17:17).

Jesus is coming again for a Bride that isn’t defiled. She has no spot, no wrinkles. I want to be prepared to be a part of this beautiful, faithful Bride, for He who is coming is called “Faithful and True.” Will He then be yoked with anyone who who is unfaithful or untrue? No. He says those who are with him are “called, chosen, and faithful.” (Revelation 17:4)

I expect that all who reject the message of Pope Francis will be hated and persecuted by those who are buying into the utopian dream of world peace and safety, but this is nothing new for the true Body of Christ. They have always stood on the Word and opposed tyranny of every form. They were heroic in their faithfulness to God. I want to be a part of this courageous “Hall of the Faithful” who will hear the words:

“Well done, good and FAITHFUL servant!” (Matthew 25:23)
